Stars of St Marys at the Highlanders Game

Some of the boys from Room 4 and Room 5 ran out on to the field with the Highlanders at the first match back after lock down. Jimmy and George said it was fun but they were a bit nervous too. Well done boys - that must have felt very special. 

Whole School Having Fun With the Whanau Games

The whole school enjoyed meeting up together for our whanau games on Friday afternoon. It is lovely to see the older children helping their younger buddies to join in and play the games. It was a nice way to finish up the week.

Celebrating the church's birthday

Today during RE we celebrated the feast of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came to fill the apostles with courage and strength, and to carry on the work of Jesus. It is called the birthday of the church so we just had to have some cake to celebrate this special feast day. It was yummy!

Teddy Bear and Friends fun!

What a lovely day we had school wide on Friday as we thanked our teddy bears and friends for keeping us company during the lock down. We made a bear hunt for our Room 3 buddies to find the missing friends. Some of those bears were very good at hiding.

Molly's Catch Up!

Molly has been keeping busy doing lots of different activities as part of her home learning. The photos show us a science experiment to watch the string crystallize, sleeping the night in her teeny tiny tent with one of the cats called Tiny, making Mum some lovely flowers for Mother's Day and learning about the bones of the skeleton. Great home learning Molly - thank you for sharing.

 

Ruby takes on a Math's challenge!

Ruby has been working on her number knowledge and her tables using Study ladder. It is great to see you working on your math's tasks Ruby. Keep it up!
