Fitness Challenge
One of the last home learning challenges I gave Room 4 was to come up with their own fitness circuit. Aria made this cool one in her garage using the things she could safely use there. This is very cool Aria.

A Good Day For Puzzles
With the weather changing so quickly to very cold, Lennox and his sister decided to get out the puzzles and work together to complete them. What a great idea. It's got plenty of pieces to do!! I love doing jigsaw puzzles.
Nash Has Made His Own Board Game
With the help of his big sister Evie, Nash has made his own version of the board game Monopoly called the Food version It sounds very interesting. His family are enjoying playing it together. Well done Nash. Perhaps you could bring it to school so some of your classmates could have a go at it?

Mason's Home Learning Activities
Mason has been doing some interesting things. He has thought about our recycling topic and has made his poster about it. He also made his own paints so that he could paint some Father's Day paper to wrap around his present for his Dad. That is very clever thinking - well done.

Recycling Topic
After looking at the RecycleKiwi website, and especially the 4Rs of Recycling video clip on Wednesday, we got thinking about what we can do to try and not make so much rubbish, Many of the children are working on their poster about this topic thinking about your message and including some pictures on it to help explain your thinking. Harrison has shared his ideas with us.
Aarons Home Learning Activities
Aaron has been working on his recycling challenge and has recycled yoghurt pottles and muffin packets into seed planters. He has been planting lots of herb seeds like corriander and chilli and pumpkin seeds that will be great to use in cooking once they have grown. He also turned toilet roll holders into pencil holders with a bit of paint they look so cool. Well done Aaron - it is lovely to see what everyone is doing.

Juan Has Been Keeping busy During Lockdown.
Juan has been helping out planting flower plants in the garden and painting some of the garden ornaments that he thought looked a bit sad and in need of a fresh coat of paint. Well done Juan - that looks amazing. There is also a gorgeous photo of the bird feeder he made with his Dad last week and look who is visiting!
Finn's Works On Her Miniball Skills
Finn has been having lots of practice with her miniball skills during lockdown. Her Dad has been helping her practise a lay up shot and she is getting pretty good at it too. Here is a great action shot.

Alyssa's Special prayer Space
At our special Sunday morning zoom Father Michael suggested that the children preparing for First Holy Communion might like to make a special prayer space that they could use during lockdown at home. Esme's Home Learning
Esme has been playing maths games with Mum to practise her tables and has also enjoyed making and icing some yummy banana chocolate chip muffins. They look very delicious Esme - good girl.

Harrison Makes A Bubble Blower!
Harrison was having fun as well as doing some science discoveries when he decided to make bubble foam and recycled plastic bottles to make bubble blowers. Then he had a competition to see who could make the longest, biggest bubbles. Looks like good fun Harrison.
Nash's great animal poster
Nash got straight to work after our class zoom this morning - finding out about an animal of his choice and then making a poster to share his learning. Well done Nash.
Annabelle's Home Learning
Annabelle has been doing lots of fun things with her home learning. She has done some baking making some lovely chocolate muffins, built a hut with things she found around the house and played monopoly while face timing Ava. Harrison's Tramp Bike!
Harrison has made a bike that can be used on his trampoline with a little bit of masking tape and a lot of good thinking and then he really enjoyed testing it out. Looks like great fun Harrison. I loved reading your writing about it too - good stuff on the recycling.
Jamie's recycling Challenge
Jamie has been busy with the recycling challenge and has made a very cool looking robot out of bits and pieces he had at home. Great work Jamie.
Mason's Cookie Time Fun!
Mason made some biscuits at home. He was using his math's skills to measure out the ingredients, read the temperature on the oven and to watch the cooking time. He even wrote down some of his thoughts about cooking which I loved reading. This is another example of great home learning and fun too. I hope you helped clean up as well Mason!!
