Room Four Visit the Art Gallery

We had lots of fun today exploring art with John at the Art Gallery. Our topic was Pacifika Art. Come in and see our bright mural of fish and turtles and other things to do with our topic. Thank you John and our lovely helpers who came with us today.

Class Mass

Today we celebrated Mass with Father Michael and Father Vayghan.  It was wonderful to welcome back Father Michael and a little sad as we farewelled Father Vaughan.  We are blessed to have such amazing Priests to guide us as we continue to learn about Jesus.

Paper Making.

Making paper was fun but really messy. It took a lot of ripping up paper to make a small piece of recycled paper.

Heather and Jan came to tell us about First Aid. We got to learn how to put on a bandage.

Glockenspiel Fun!

We have been learning to play the glockenspiels to play simple little tunes. It is hard to just hit one note at a time but it sounds really nice. So far we can play Pudding on the Hill and Can You Click Your Tongue.

Beautiful autumn leaves!

Today we had lots of fun painting our leaves in autumn colours. Next we pressed the painted leaf over some cartridge paper to make a leaf print. The best print came by using less paint so it wasn't all splotchy! We used lots of autumn colours and made our own mixtures of colours. Come into Room Four to see our art works.

Autumn Leaves Art!
